Return to Essence is happy to announce we are formally registered with the Complementary Medical Association as a teaching facility. This means our teachers and workshop material is recognised and approved by them.
We have also been granted CPD (Continued Professional Development) status for one of our workshops, “What Exactly is a Chakra?” Our intention is to apply for accreditation on all of our workshop material, providing practitioners, therapists and healers with high quality, relevant teaching material that will complement their existing practice.

I once asked a bunch of professionals in a room what they thought healing was. The general response was interesting. Their perception was that it’s miraculous, spiritual, special, unfathomable, spooky, freaky, weird, mystical something that happens naturally without effort, to mention just a few comments. I loved their answers because I could see this talk was going to be rewarding and insightful. When I was teaching at the School of Energy Healing, the subject of “How do I tell people about what I do, so they will take me seriously” was a biggie. I thought I would write this article as an explanation based upon my own previous experience of working in healing and on research from various sources in the fields of metaphysics and science. Each of us and in fact all of life has this wonderful system of checks and balances that are designed to keep us in perfect working order. This Balancing System holds the blueprint of wholeness, which has no choice but to continue to seek ways in which to re-dress imbalances. So if this is true, why do things deteriorate? Good food goes moldy and begins to rot, autumn leaves drop off trees and decay into mulch, we grow old and die, in fact we experience deterioration in everything. But isn’t it interesting that our observation of evolution does not fit into the phenomena of decay and death. Scientists have pointed out and shown us that evolution continues to expand into more highly developed, intelligent and specialized systems. The Scientific world is now discovering that the evolution of biological systems continually evolve through an underling intelligent Unified Field that is alive. It maintains to seek health and balance and is resonant with other life fields. This constant seeking to maintain health and balance by the Unified Field can be disrupted by living against these laws of balance through lifestyles that deplete our energy. So we become energy poor. When our balancing system needs attention, through subtle feelings and signs, we should listen to those feelings. If we ignore these messages and continue with “wrong action” our balancing system will speak louder to us in the form pain. Many people get stuck and go into denial about many aspects of their lives because to them, to make positive changes appears too difficult or impossible. The thought of change is just too frightening. This persistent denial for change builds up over years and then manifests in a life crisis. In other words our Balancing System is demanding attention in an attempt to create balance and health. One of the root meanings of Healing is: “Transcends Suffering”. As all suffering is counter to the basic principles of life, whether it be physical, emotional or mental suffering, healing may be described as the process that takes place when we realize that we can stop doing the actions that causes pain in the first place. Here we align with our Balancing System and listen to the wisdom it is trying to convey. It may be said that certain thoughts, feelings and actions, cause us to be in pain and imbalance and by discovering, becoming conscious and realizing our actions, we then have the choice to make changes that are in harmony with life. To maintain health is to consciously align yourself with your Balancing System and to re-establish the wisdom, guidance and subtle “knowing” that most people ignore when it is inconvenient to follow such guidance. We as teachers of Energy Healing take great joy in doing the job of educating people back into a state of familiarity with their Balancing System, that deep subtle place in our core that reminds us who we are, what we need and how to heal ourselves. |
