Return to Essence is happy to announce we are formally registered with the Complementary Medical Association as a teaching facility. This means our teachers and workshop material is recognised and approved by them.
We have also been granted CPD (Continued Professional Development) status for one of our workshops, “What Exactly is a Chakra?” Our intention is to apply for accreditation on all of our workshop material, providing practitioners, therapists and healers with high quality, relevant teaching material that will complement their existing practice.

There are varying descriptions and interpretations about the Chakra System, so which one is right and can someone prove they exist?Well an answer would be … it doesn’t matter, because the Chakra System is simply a map or a guideline to be explored. It is not so much the details of the Chakras, such as how many there are exactly, or whether their psychological functions differ from culture and age. A deeper question begs; what will I learn and experience on this journey, and how will this affect my awareness toward myself and others? Will undergoing this exploration facilitate health, or joy, more contentment, less addiction? The list of longing is eternal. This Chakra ideology or philosophy can also be called a Map of Consciousness, because the process of exploring and experiencing it can open and expand your conscious awareness in a profound way. Some Chakra Maps of Consciousness are almost 5000 years old and originate in countries such as India, China, Thailand, Japan and others. You can explore and experience working with Chakras in our “What Exactly is a Chakra?” 1 day workshop and decide for yourself. |
